A platform supporting neighbourhood businesses through photo and film

Born during the national lockdown of 2020, we started Little Places as a platform to discover independent businesses that were adapting in order to survive. It wasn’t guaranteed they’d still be around after the pandemic and we wanted to do something to help.



Little Places has since evolved into a curated platform of some of the most special places, people and projects around the capital.

We've continued to push the conversation of how important these kinds of establishments are. And the love we have seen towards them from our followers has been both overwhelming and humbling.



An important part of Little Places is that every place is selected, visited, and captured by us - no press photos or generic click-bait round-ups here.

Little Places is run by husband and wife Kyra & Jason.

Much like many of the establishments we cover, we’re completely independent, wearing many hats to bring the project to life.

Kyra takes on the role of Editor; overseeing the editorial vision and curation of our platform. She sets the tone, decides what stories or places get covered, and ensures everything aligns with brand values.

Jason takes on the role of Designer; developing the brand, visual language, and building our website.

We take on the role of Content Creator together - sharing responsibilities when it comes to capturing photography and film.
